At KN Crafted Wood, every item is handcrafted to order. Because each piece is made specifically for you after you place your order, we are unable to accept general returns or exchanges. However, we stand behind the quality of our work and want you to be happy with your purchase — please read below for what is and isn't covered.

Made-to-Order Items

All items sold on kncraftedwood.com are handmade to order. As a result:

All sales are final, except in the cases outlined below.

We do not accept returns for buyer's remorse, sizing preferences, or change of mind once production has begun.

Because we work with natural wood, slight variations in grain, color, and knots are expected and are not considered defects. Each piece is unique — this is part of what makes handcrafted wood products special.

Order Cancellations

You may cancel your order for a full refund within 48 hours of placing it, as long as production has not yet started.

To cancel, contact us at [your email] with your order number as soon as possible.

Once production has begun, we are unable to offer cancellations or refunds, since materials and labor have already been committed to your custom piece.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

We will make it right if:

Your item arrives damaged in transit

Your item has a manufacturing defect (not natural wood variation)

You received the wrong item or one that doesn't match your order specifications

To report an issue:

Include your order number and clear photos of the item (and packaging, if damaged in shipping)

We'll review and offer one of the following: a remake, a repair, store credit, or a refund — whichever best fits the situation

Claims submitted after 7 days, or without photo documentation, may not be eligible for resolution.

What's Not Covered

Buyer's remorse or change of mind

Natural characteristics of wood (grain pattern, minor color variation, small knots)

Minor differences from photos due to the handmade nature of each piece

Damage caused by improper use or care after delivery

Care Instructions

To help your piece last, please follow the care instructions included with your order. Damage resulting from improper care is not eligible for replacement or refund.
